Dr. Nettra Pan (she/hers) is a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) at Bayes Business School in the heart of London. At Bayes, Nettra studies purpose-driven innovation and entrepreneurship; the process through which companies, individuals and teams discover, build and distribute products and services that are personally meaningful to them.
Nettra has spent the last 10 years working with founders and investors to understand effective strategies for identifying and working with emerging economic, social and technological trends. In the past, she has worked with for-profit and non-profit organizations to design and improve initiatives addressing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
Although it was Nettra’s interaction with founders applying blockchain technology to business problems that first introduced Nettra to crypto, it was not until January 2021 that Nettra began to observe a new trend in how community-driven projects were organizing, representing and funding themselves.
Recently, after joining several successful digital art projects as a collector, artist and DAO-member, Nettra has begun studying how web3 technologies and philosophies can help humans unleash their creativity and usher us into a thriving and much-needed post-capitalistic society (or at the very least, into a new paradigm for business). She founded the Pathfinders.Institute for this purpose. It is an emerging entity to be co-created with and co-designed in community.
